First Ring vs Second Ring Magic

In speaking of the magic kingdoms, it is necessary to lift the veil from magic and its uses. Magic is the manipulation of reality through the use of intent. There are two ways to practice magic; first and second ring magic.

On the walls of ancient Central American ruins, the story is told of how first ring magic was initially brought to earth by star-beings from Orion. This form of magic is left-brain based and utilizes external techniques for its effectiveness. When most speak or think of magic, it is usually first ring magic they refer to.

Second ring magic uses the right-brain, feminine, non-cognitive methods of affecting reality. The magic originates from within rather than from without. It is inner abilities that are used by the unseen realms on earth.

Among the kingdoms and realms on earth, only the physical ones have forgotten their heritage as magical beings of the cosmos. As a result, their ability to do second ring magic became obscured and man resorted to the left-brain, or first ring magic.

Only in the deepest recesses of mystery schools did pockets of knowledge survive of an inner technology that could influence the environment in mystical ways. Only there were remnants taught of the knowledge that once flourished in ancient Mu and some of the older Atlantean civilizations.

The advent of first ring magic wrought havoc among men. Climates were disrupted, global catastrophes occurred and men became power-seekers and turned upon each other. The oral traditions of the Toltec seers speak of these times of great destruction when first ring magic was used in the warfare that destroyed and ravaged Atlantis.

Between 200,000 and 75,000 years ago when Atlantis was divided into two large islands, Ruta and Itiya, practitioners of first ring magic congregated on Ruta and grew strong.

Those practicing second ring magic lived on Itiya, laboring diligently to keep the earth from experiencing another global catastrophe. At the end of the period, however, it became abundantly clear they were losing the battle. They fled to safer areas, including the inner earth.

The only way to obtain power without damaging the inter-connectedness of life is through perception. First ring magic uses ritual, incantations and other external sources of power. This must eventually deplete not only the practitioner, but the environment. In addition, the power available through left-brain methods is limited, whereas that available through the right-brain, internal methods is not.

First ring magic causes environmental disruption and catastrophe through depleting the environment and disrupting the earth’s energetic flow. The planetary energy flows along its ley lines, or meridians. In addition, each species has a grid telling it how to act. These grids are arrays of lines along which light in the form of information flows. When these, as well as the ley lines, are disrupted, the planet tilts on her axis or draws in other catastrophes due to lack of life force.

The potential for abuse of magic is a very real threat when first ring magic is used, since it doesn’t require that the practitioner develop impeccability. Knowledge of certain practices is all that is needed. Power seekers have disrupted the environment with first ring magic since its introduction to humanity.

Second ring magic, on the other hand, is the result of perception. In fact, the more inclusive the perception the more power is available. Practitioners, because of their perception, become unable to harm life.

For the most part, the magical kingdoms have very strict rules governing the use of magic, with dire consequences for its misuse. Exceptions have been, among others, the demons and sometimes the dragons. Since the planetary and cosmic ascension began, the Mother Goddess has decreed that power to do magic be matched by a corresponding degree of perception. This removed the destructive magical abilities from beings in the cosmos.

Second ring magic is used by fairies, elves, pixies and other beings from the magical kingdoms to create, grow and sustain plant and mineral life. Angels do the same for human and animal life. Large planetary angels sustain planets; smaller ones govern oceans, rivers, lakes and mountain ranges. Angels support humans in many ways, some staying with a single human all his life, much as a guardian spirit would.

Therefore it can be said that magic, or the power of intent, is the primary force that carries out the will of the Infinite within the cosmos. Only when it becomes exclusive or self-centered does it destroy rather than sustain life.
