Four Rituals of Giant Customs

Customs Ritual # One: To Restore True Love

Gel babla subla hit virsk nit islklut
Stablba hesh va vis ba kletnat sku varklvthesh
Kluglat sibl va bra sa ba ru
Yla stra ba ruk mit bilshbavanug us

The ritual we give true love to restore
To help feelings flow, to be free as before
Only to use if love once was there
It only will work if love has been shared

Usefvi kraq unat ish valesvu
Pluag vra ba uvra vilsh bri bra vu

Use now the paint to draw the one’s face
Use now the words to say as you paint

“Klugstra mirvash ufba hef
Kelignud eresba uvl bartl hesh
Sut bach ba urasfa vi
Ules va klut
Nangrd bulesva eskvrtlvi
Brubag plavu"

No matter how accurate is your art
As you paint it’s the feelings you have in your heart

Say too the words (the words given in the preceding paragraph) over from finish to start

Vra sit vich vrlshalvi brasba elch varasba
Tubar vi shelsablakut eresh nus vis va ha

Place now the painting in a circle of light
13 candles circle round from left to right
Pronounce it to be a receptive womb
Drawing in love from your loved one soon
Then let it lie in its very own room
Where 13 candles shine to banish the gloom
When this is done for fourteen days
Under your mattress it must stay

Customs Ritual # Two: To Keep Your Child Secure

Sut afbalknut echva bilsh havra
Klu stra balach vis tsh ul vris skaluba

And now a ritual for children you have
To keep them secure as though holding your hand

Stau balak virs klaru ma pli
Eglug brvavikstru avru ver
Kiglhit pilich virt balashtra
Kuglvk nin abal ufghlm mir natra

Say these words over a blanket
Wrapped around the child’s pillow
Picture with love the child’s hand in yours
All the while saying these words:

“Branich brstra uref het
Pil ba jurs tra uvra set
Kelech vi nu sti har uvrabat
Kagr usba hirk va stat”

Then picture the child wrapped in its warmth

Trau nk vik baresh vit.
Krech ma nua vers klit
Stu ufba rech vi achvra hat
Klesh ufba uvra vet selshvt bra bat

Whenever you want to, whenever there’s cause
As you see in your mind the child now secure
Whisper these words of magic so pure:

“Branich brstra uref het
Pil ba jurs tra uvra set
Kelech vi nu sti har uvrabat
Kagr usba hirk va stat”

Customs Ritual # Three: To Clear Ties with Departed Loved Ones

Mir nach ves brtl klsvi vas
Brrsta prvik hili braf bak sta
Blichvr sirtl ka balag nut
Vilsh sat bl kravanug surtl vrut

To clear ties with loved ones who are no longer near
To purify space when vacated by those you hold dear
This is the ritual that sends them along
Free from ties or even bindings strong

Take a container of silver—it must be pure
Place it within a stream’s water clear
Let it rest in the water running fast
For a while only, is as long as it lasts

This must be done when you awake
Along to the stream an object you take
Of the loved one departed, the one you hold dear

Remove the container filled with water clear

Place the object now on the bottom to rest
Carry the bowl to the loved one’s room
Let it sit; five days are best
When completed to the stream yet again
Release the water with object into the stream

Say three times these words and the one is released

“Beres plavi hubl hik
Usbaa aavra viristik.”

Customs Ritual # Four: To Find Your Mate

Svarvi hrtl elek vi
Stabra usl stalech vi
Mir ne us vis btl us va vaa
Klhspt blublag staa

Finding your mate can easy be
Use this ritual and you will see
The mate of your choice attracted to you
The ritual will call one who’ll want you too

Write now these words that you may recall
What to use in this ritual
Honey you’ll use with vinegar mixed
Red pepper, too, sprinkled on top

Make a circle of stones on a hill
Round to the right sprinkle that which you mixed

Now walk once around saying these words:

“Parchva iles vis ba ruk
Klagnk veres varasta vruk
Bilich hishpa krtl het
Nusbi elech satru vit”

Enclosed now you sit with fire and wood
Each quality wanted, well understood
Burn a stick with each quality seen
Calling it forth in the partner to be

Wait ‘till the fire has burned itself out
Arise with outstretched arms and these words shout:

“Kerech ni va vilsh vabrag bilisnik
Kelsh pirim esta vea asva kluvivanik
Esvaa urech vish balak nug
Stala barfru ba vit elskla barstug”

This will deliver your love to you
In case they’re not ready, repeat every full moon
